Creating The New World, Part 4 Abundance

new-world-abundance

Many people say they want to change the world. But how? What is your vision of the New World? In this fourth installment of the Creating The New World series, we tackle with the sensitive discussion of Abundance in spiritual context.

Alignment with Divine Abundance

In my Akashic Record Reading practice, I see quite many people who are well aligned with Divine Love, Light, and Truth, but are widely misaligned with Divine Abundance and Power. They know they are spiritual beings that transcend physical bodies (alignment with Divine Light) and they live in Love and Truth, but they have hard time exercising their power and creating abundant life. They limit themselves in receiving boundless abundance.

On the other hand, there are some clients who are well aligned with Divine Abundance but poorly aligned with other energy flows. They have money but they are unhappy.

And the truth is we don’t need to be one or the other way. It is entirely possible to align with all five energy flows, to live fully in this physical world while nurturing our spirituality.

The key is to free ourselves from the false beliefs in scarcity and limitation.

Beliefs in scarcity and limitation

Do you see the world to be abundant? Do you see boundless abundance you can enjoy?

Until you acknowledge abundance wholeheartedly, there is no way to receive it. It’s like asking for a candy when you don’t think there is one. Most likely, you wouldn’t even bother with the asking.

So the first step in creating the New World based on Abundance is to see through the lies of scarcity. Yeah, it’s just a system of lies. Just because many people have believed in them don’t make them true.

Here are some of such lies based on the belief on scarcity and limitation:

False belief #1 “There are only limited amount of wealth / success, so I need to compete for it.”
This is by far the most destructive false belief there is. It has lead to general sense of distrust and hate in other human beings, occasionally resulting in wars and crimes.

This belief can also manifest in reverse, “There are only limited amount of wealth / success, and I hate to compete, so I volunteer to lose.” It’s just the flip side of the same scarcity belief.

But is it true? Is there really limitation of wealth / success and are we destined to be either a selfish (and often play-dirty) dog or a poor self-sacrificing saint?

When your perspective is superficial, yes, you’d see limitations including limitations of the physical resources such as oil or land. However we don’t need oil for oil’s sake, what we really need is energy source to heat our houses and move our vehicles. Energy sources in the universe is huge it’s practically unlimited. We just need to figure out how to use them, which will create new businesses.

Similarly, when you look at your company’s profit & loss statement, you may think there is only a certain amount of money that can be shared among employees. Within that context, yes, there is limitation. However, your company’s profit can increase. Ignoring this fact and believing there is always scarcity and limitation is a short-circuited way of thinking.

I also think a lot of scarcity is man-made, spurred by the fear of scarcity itself. For example, there are starving people in Africa. Well, actually, we don’t need to look that far … right next to the US, people in Mexico typically have far less than Americans. And there are homeless people in the US. Why is this so? Is this because there is innate scarcity in the world?

I doubt it. I also see tons of foods going to trash right from the storefront in the US (because the produce is getting old, etc). If we can figure out how to share foods worldwide, most, if not all, the problems would disappear. And with today’s technology, figuring out a good way of distribution wouldn’t be difficult. The only thing that is blocking us is the fear of scarcity.

Creative solutions, sharing, and cooperation will make everyone well off.

False belief #2 “Life is short, so I better specialize in one niche I can be good at if I am to succeed.”

The physical time we have in one lifetime is somewhat limited. Our resources to learn and develop new skills, however, are not. A piece of knowledge or skill can be utilized in multiple ways, contributing to multiple areas of specialization. By cross training, we get better at all the related areas.

For instance, as a former professional foreign language teacher, I can say people who learns foreign language quickly and well are those who has mastered their first language well. Say you are an American who want to learn Japanese. English and Japanese are two completely different languages. Yet, when you come to the first Japanese class, you already have huge amount of knowledge and skills you can utilize in your attempt to learn Japanese.

You already know a word represents a concept. And you know many concepts such as “red” or “to swim”. You also know there are certain systematic rules to construct a meaningful sentence. Whether you know grammatical terms or not is irrelevant. The point is you know there are rules and you know you need to learn these rules, not just individual words. And you know much much more.

Someone who has learned to express their thoughts and emotions appropriately in their first language is highly likely to master a second language. And they are motivated to learn foreign languages — they like expressing themselves in words, which made them good at their first language to begin with. So there is no point in limiting them to one language. Their internal resources multi-function. Resources are abundant.

Similarly, many musicians juggle multiple instruments. Visual artists do this, too, and I think combination skill sports like ironman race is a very healthy development. A good salesperson can sell pretty much anything after a brief learning period, and they are likely to make good motivational speakers as well.

Further, you can jump beyond the naturally related fields. Tim Ferriss pointed out the benefits of this approach. (HT: Hunter Nuttall) “The jack of all trades maximizes his number of peak experiences in life and learns to enjoy the pursuit of excellence.”

We are born with natural curiosity that leads to multiple interests. Willingness to dive into new areas of interests is based on abundance thinking, and in tern reinforces abundance and confidence. And you can be wonderful in many areas.

False belief #3 “There are only certain amount of love, so I better hurry up and grab a desirable person as my lover.”

This is something I’ve been thinking hard recently. Again, the number of desirable single individuals are limited, but that is just the superficial aspect. There is no scarcity of love. I suspect this false belief has been promoted by social authorities because if we connected with many people with love across the board, that could be a serious threat to those few people in power who want to control us with fear. So they have been brain washing us, teaching us to stay in our tiny homes of security.

I will write more on this issue of scarcity and limitation of love. It’s a huge issue by itself and covering it properly is outside the scope of this article.

The above three beliefs are just the biggies. There are many other false beliefs that are based on scarcity and limitation. Scarcity thoughts puts you on deferred life plan, making you believe you don’t have enough — yet. Scarcity thoughts keeps your house cluttered by preventing you from getting rid of old and unnecessary stuffs.

What other false beliefs do you buy into?

The Female Principle

When we were hunter / gatherers, we operated on the female principles. Mother Nature provided our sustenance, and we cooperated in our work and shared what we received. As the society grew to more labor intensive agrarian (then industrial) system, male principle of separatism and competition became dominant.

The New World will once again embrace the female principle, but in a new way. In other words, we need to integrate the male and female principles and come up with the new principle that is very different from the current male principle.

Does this mean we will recreate the original utopia? No. It will be an updated version of utopia. This time, we will retain our individuality. In fact, we will be very conscious of our sense of self. At the same time, we will be clearly conscious of our connection to the Whole and our interconnectedness. This is what I mean it will be the integration of male and female energies.

Likewise, we may still compete in the New World. But the competition will be fun, like a good sport, not about rat race or exploitation. It will be about enhancing one another, and we will create wonderful results that we can all benefit from.

As individual, we each have both male and female energies regardless of the physical gender we have. As Ascension progresses, I see in many of my clients’ Akashic Records that their energies are starting to balance between the male and female energies. On the individual level, we are getting prepared for the new way of living.

How to bring in the New World

I’ve thought about how far I want to go in the action plan for bringing in the New World based on Abundance. The list can be quite detailed and elaborate, but I already wrote several posts in the Spiritual Money category and I don’t like repeating myself. So if you are interested in bringing in more abundance in your personal life, please check those articles. You may also enjoy posts in the Law of Attraction category.

Here is a skinny of the more “big picture” approach to the New World:

1. Work on your own abundance awareness before going out to help the needy. Check if you are buying into the false beliefs of scarcity and limitation and let them go. If you go out to help the “needy” before doing this, you may actually be reinforcing the social illusion, effectively keeping the poor where they are.

2. Spend time in nature. Many people find this is an effective way to cultivate the abundance awareness. Nature is always so abundant.

3. For your personal abundance, think of flow rather than specific amount of money. Wishing for, say a billion dollars, is usually a sign of scarcity thoughts.

4. Think of the New World of love and peace, where there are no borders. Borders and other various rules are enforced to keep the illusion of scarcity. Think in terms of Love, Light, and Truth rather than in terms of existing, conventional rules and regulations. How can you cooperate and share so we can all live in abundance?

Creating The New World, Part 3 Truth

May 2, 2009 by akemi · 9 Comments

new-world-truth

This is the third part of the Creating The New World series.  I know many people feel disempowered, overwhelmed, and confused in their lives and about the world.  We have given up so much of our own power.  But the truth is you do have the power to create.

The time can’t be better because Light Ascension brings unusual opportunity to change.  So we are exploring the possibilities of how the New World can be built on Love, Light, Truth, Abundance, and Power.

How can we know Truth?

Truth may seem ever so elusive.  There are so many conflicting opinions.  One idea that seemed to work ceases to be effective over time.  And there have been so many bad things like war and other killings done by the name of truth.

What is Truth and how can we know Truth?

There are two approaches:

  1. Seeking Truth in someone who knows better, either directly or through books, etc.
  2. Finding Truth directly from the Source within

Seeking Truth outside of ourselves

This is what we usually do.  We are socially conditioned to think there are authorities who know better than we do and the the best thing we can do is to consult them.  As kids, we were sent to school, where teachers gave us various knowledge.  The knowledge was to be taken as true without much examination and contemplation.  When we had questions, we were told to ask someone or check the dictionary.  And we carry this attitude to our adulthood.

Schools, seminars, books, websites . . . all these learning media are convenient and effective way to pass knowledge.  They certainly have their place in society.  However, we have been severely disempowered by overly relying on them.

When was the last time you thought through your challenge before asking for help or checking some books / websites?  And after you gathered some knowledge, did you check if it resonates within you?

When we rely outside sources for truth, we disempower ourselves and become blind to the information we receive.  I mean, what if negative forces put in false truths in our collective consciousness?  Can we tell the fakes from truth?  Not likely when external resources are the only source of knowledge and when we are conditioned to take it as truth.

Issue with different frames of reference

Outside resources have one more major problem: the “truth” is filtered through another person(s).  This is not a big deal in areas such as math and science, but in spirituality, it is a huge block.

Each person has a different frame of reference.  What I mean when I say “beautiful” is different from what you understand to be beautiful.  Language is a system of misunderstanding.

The issue of different frame of reference is especially problematic in channelled information.  By channelling, I mean a medium receives energetic (non-verbal) messages and put them into words.  And each medium has a difference frame of reference.  The prophets of the Old Testament lived very differently from us and had notably different frame of reference.  Even the modern day mediums, each has a frame of reference which is somewhat different from yours.

So every channelled message is more or less screwed.  Even when the medium all the good intentions.

What are we to do to know the Truth?  Fortunately, there is a better way. . .

Finding Truth within ourselves

Each of us is capable of reaching to the Source of Truth.  We can find Truth by dropping judgments and unnecessary knowledge and by opening up to Truth.

It’s still fine to do your learning through books or teachers — it can be helpful even.  But the priority is in yourself.  And for spiritual messages, you can receive them directly through your own intuition.

This simple path of finding Truth within ourselves takes honesty and trust in ourselves.

Truth, judgment, and honesty

When we talk about honesty, it’s usually about honesty to others.  “Don’t lie,” we’ve been repeatedly told.  Far more often than being asked how we really feel, I bet.

Many people compromise honesty to oneself in their effort to be “kind” or “right”.  We are afraid of being rejected so we try to behave in a nice kind way that we believe to be in accord to the socio-cultural values.  Insisting to be right is based on the same fear of rejection, and it directly utilizes the judgments we are conditioned to hold on to.

For instance, say you are married to a loving, caring, and supportive person.  You love him (or her) very much.  One evening, he wants sex — you don’t.  So your honest response is “No.”   But how many people can say the simple no?  Not “No, I have a headache tonight.”, just simple “No, I love you, but I don’t want it now.”

So you oblige to your partner’s need.  You are being kind to your partner and being a good spouse, at the expense of being honest to your truth.  Do this enough times, you start losing your true sense of sexuality.  You may pass the judgment test of “being a good spouse”, but you forget your truth.

Now the flip side.  You sense your spouse is not really enjoying sex.  You feel like you are pushing it to her.  So you start suppressing your sexual desires — you withhold yes to yourself.  This is another way of not being honest to your truth.

Of course, it’s not just about sex.  How many times have you suppressed free expression of your feeling, thoughts. . . your truth?  (And yeah, expression doesn’t mean acting out, like stealing what you want from the storefront.)

To create the New World based on Truth, we need to let go of our long-cherished judgments and our need to be “nice “ and “right”.  You are already loved, so you don’t need to conform to the social idea of what is acceptable and desirable.  You don’t even need to be right — truth can manifest in various ways. (More on this later in this article)

What kind of judgment are you holding onto at this time?  Does holding onto it help you to be honest with yourself?  Further, does that judgment / value system help you to be in Love and see Truth?

Truth and religion

I guess I can’t ignore the topic of religion when I talk about Truth.  First let me acknowledge I respect Jesus, Buddha, Lao-Tsu, and many more spiritual teachers.  I also know many people in the organized religious institutions are genuinely good people.

It’s when a religion starts to claim monopoly of truth, or sole access to God, when I see a problem.  As I pointed out, relying on outside sources for truth disempowers us.  And I don’t think God created us to be slaves — we are God ourselves.  So when someone claims he or his organization has better (or only) access to truth, I see the opposite being true.

Let me explain using Christianity as example.  When you read the Gospels, it’s clear that Jesus presented himself as a child of God.  (It’s a short easy read to cover the four Gospels so I encourage you even if you are not Christian.  Don’t worry about the footnotes, just read the four Gospels like you read a novel.  It only takes a few hours.)  Nowhere he says he is the ONLY child of God.  That part was made up later by someone else.  Jesus even said others can do the same things he did, and some more.

So when we talk about Christianity, we are actually talking about two faiths: the original teaching of Jesus and the teachings that later convoluted the original and stole its name.  I see no problem with the first — it’s a beautiful expression of many aspects of Truth.  Regarding the latter — did I say there has been false truth mixed in our collective consciousness by darkworkers?

Truth and authority

It’s not just religion.  Until we get to the New World, we need to be watchful for authorities and be careful not to mix up authority and truth.

We tend to think, “Dr. XX is the authority of XXXX so whatever he says must be true.”  The funny thing is many of us tend to trust him whether it’s about XXXX or not.  And in either case, the Truth is he could be wrong.  He being an authority doesn’t make what he says to be true.

Seeing Truth takes seeing people, things, and events just as they are.  With no regard to their job title, social status, financial status, police record, credit record, past performance, etc.  These can be indications of who a person is, but ultimately has nothing to do with his truth.

If a high level priest molesters a young boy, he is a sex predator.  His being a religious authority doesn’t change this truth.  And if you see a well-dressed man shoplifting a candy, that is so — don’t second guess your vision.  On the other hand, a felon may have a piece of Truth worth listening to.

Truth, trust, and vulnerability

When we let go of the internalized value systems and judgments, more Light becomes available, and we start to see Truth.  Truth is so simple and obvious most of the time.  The challenge is not about finding Truth, it’s about trusting the Truth you find.

Trusting your truth is indeed a big challenge when you intuitively and directly find Truth because Truth doesn’t always come with all the why’s and how’s.  Truth often presents itself just as is.

Trusting Truth means you are willing to be vulnerable in this still judgment-filled world.  Like a very small child.

Let’s go back to our example of the loving couple having sex problem.  Can you say “Yes” or “No” freely if you were in their place, with no excuse, no manipulative expectation to your partner’s response, no attachments to your relationship’s outcome?  Yeah, this is what I mean you need to be willing to be vulnerable if you are to embrace your Truth.

I, nor anyone, can guarantee you’d be accepted when you tell your truth.  It’s your truth, trust it, embrace it, and jump in to the reality with it.

It’s easy to put up armors of protection around us using the power of logics.  If you’ve been hurt or lost something / someone valuable to you (and who hasn’t?), you may feel you need to protect yourself this way rather than being vulnerable.

And logics are like plasters — it sticks to everywhere.  You can give reasons to all your actions, emotions, and thoughts.  You can justify yourself.  And by setting up the protection around yourself, you distance yourself from Truth, and also possibly from your very loved ones.

Truth is not always pretty.  It doesn’t always impress people with its beauty and grandiose.  Truth is . . . truth.

False belief systems

Writing about all kinds of false belief systems is outside the scope of this article, but I want to point out some of the major false belief systems that often hinder us see Truth.

1. Belief in scarcity and limitation
I already wrote about this a few times such as this post on spiritual money, and I will write more in the next post of this Creating The New World series on Abundance.  The short of it is scarcity and limitation are illusions.   Darkworkers have made plenty of false truths and fear out of this illusion and have planted them in the collective consciousness.  Now quite many lightworkers blindly buy into them.  But Truth is not about voting.  Scarcity and limitation are nonetheless illusions.

2. Monic belief
Closely related to the scarcity and limitation belief is the monic belief, that there is only one ultimate truth and all others are false.  This belief is very destructive because it de-values everything else but the one of choice.

For instance, many of us are taught that there is one true love that lasts for the rest of your life — and all other relationships are fakes or no good.  So until you find such one love, your love life is worthless, maybe you are worthless yourself.  OMG the truth is all love is good.

Other examples: One ultimate passion, or purpose of life.  One true name of God — this belief has killed scary many people through the history.  And how about one true psychic that is real and all others are fraud. (This one makes me laugh.  Do you seek out one true dentist and believe all others are no good?)

3. Dualistic belief
Me saying no to you doesn’t mean one of us is right and the other is wrong.  However, dualistic belief of “right vs wrong” “good vs bad” makes it seem that way.  Truth is there can be multiple manifestations of Truth and all may be good.

Further, what seems to be the opposite may not even that.  For instance, darkness is not the substance that is opposite to light; darkness is the lack of light.  So efforts to eliminate darkness is pointless . . . there is nothing to be eliminated.  We can only increase light and let it shine through everywhere.

Our second childhood

All this may sound so much, so here is an antidote: It all boils down to being like a small child!

A very small child, before they are conditioned to lie for themselves (who wants to be punished for telling the truth?), are naturally honest.  They so daringly trust themselves — it’s pretty much a given, in a sense, because all they know is their truth.  They are vulnerable. (Fortunately, most make their way through.)  They are likely to know God whether they can explain it in words or not.  Many just naturally play with spirits.

Living our Truth, then, is becoming like a child while we are in our adult body, with grownup knowledge and experiences.  It’s more about unlearning than learning.  Our New World is a playground for us, enjoying our second childhood.

How to bring in the New World

The action plan for bringing in the New World based on Truth is short and sweet because it’s more about letting go and returning to our childhood.

1. Yes, whenever you notice, let go of the conventional values and judgments.  If you feel dangerously vulnerable, you are doing great!

2. I wrote about forgiveness in Love part of this Creating The New World series, but I’ll repeat myself.  Past hang-ups can hinder you see Truth, so forgive for yourself.

3. If you have a small child, you are in luck.  Learn from them.  Spend time playing and communicating with them.  (Communication goes beyond verbal communication.)  If you don’t have one, can you borrow one?

4. When you want to learn from external sources, go to the original source whenever possible.  For example, read the Bible, not books written by preachers.  This minimizes the negative effect of deviation, whether it was intentional or not.

5. Pay attention to how you feel when you learn certain “truth”.  Does it resonate with you?  If not, is it possible that it is screwed somehow?  Does a truth that doesn’t resonate with you valuable to you?

6. Develop your intuition and learn to trust your Truth.

7. Speak your Truth and live your Truth.  Dare to say simple things like: Yes, No, Sorry, I just noticed something new (some truth changes) !, I love you / this.

Do you have other suggestions to be more in alignment with Truth?  Please let me know in the comments.  Thank you.   (Photo by carf)

Law Of Attraction, Million Dollar Check, And Business Growth

Do you want to attract $1M check?

Really? Are you really comfortable to have that chunk of money out of nowhere?

I’d rather have steady business growth. Sorry, I don’t mean to be boring, but it’s my real feeling.

This article examines why I think some people mistrust the Law of Attraction. They say the Law of Attraction doesn’t work because they haven’t been able to attract what they want, such as a lot of money. Well, the LOA has, and is, working for me, and I would like to help you use it well for your growth as a person and as an entrepreneur.

The disasters of winning the lottery

First, let’s see what happens when you actually get huge amount of money all of a sudden, like by winning a lottery. Various studies have been published about this topic (like this and this). According to these studies, many lottery winners lose friends and eventually move to another state to start over. They lose the money they won (and some more) sooner or later and often file for bankruptcy. Some are physically attacked by their relatives or practically kill themselves with tons of drinks or drugs.

It is horrible to receive the amount of money that is not in your current comfort zone, the kind of money you don’t know how to handle. Luckily, God (or Universe or whatever you want to call) spare us this kind of disasters most of the time.

Further, healthy conscious people don’t go after this kind of out-of-the-context wishes. As I stated in the beginning, I’m really not comfortable with this kind of money and would not use the Law of Attraction to get it.

My current comfort zone of money is up to five digits. Six digit money makes me nervous, and seven digit is hard to image. So I use the Law of Attraction within this comfort zone while working on expanding my comfort zone. Check my new project here how I am working to expand my money consciousness.

The scarcity thought behind the million dollar check

When we really question ourselves why we want the big fat check, we notice it is based on fear. We are afraid we would never make enough money to pay off debt and buy the things we want. We are afraid something bad that would cause financial havoc happen. We are afraid we may not be “good enough” without the money and what money can buy. . .

There are two problems with this fear, the fear based on scarcity thoughts. One, we end up attracting scarcity. We may think we want money, badly for that matter, but our real message is the belief in scarcity so that is what we attract. (And people blame the Law of Attraction for not working for them, when in fact it is working perfectly.) Two, well, it’s just not the natural way of the Universe, so we drift away from the Creator.

The Universe doesn’t understand scarcity thoughts. What I see in the nature is that the Universe provides steadily in a flow. There are fluctuations, yes. But it doesn’t work in a way like “Okay, let’s provide plenty of rain at a time to last for the next 10 years.” No, it seems the Universe provides in each given moment and it doesn’t ensure things into the future.

If you are an investor, think of it this way – which is better, capital gain or dividend income? Both would be nice, and there are times we need to go for capital gain to raise funds, but between the two, the steady ongoing flow of dividends is better, isn’t it? We want to create income flow of dividends. Asking for the big check and to be done with the financial efforts is analogous to going for one-time capital gain alone.

How to attract money

In order to utilize the Law of Attraction well, to attract the money rather than the lack of it, we need to base our thoughts on abundance. I have plenty and there are plenty more out there for me and for everyone. No need for the million dollar check to ensure financial bliss (which it won’t anyway). Further, I use the Law of Attraction in a way I can handle.

So I want my business to grow. I help people coaching and doing Akashic Record Reading, and I get paid. Money goes to saving and investment accounts, and they grow. . And I want my business to grow at a manageable pace. These are meaningful and abundance based wishes.

Additional thoughts on the Law of Attraction

When I talked about the Law of Attraction in this article, Tom reminded us that too many people seem to be using the Law of Attraction for monetary gains. Why not use it for world peace? I think it is perfectly okay to use it for money, and it is also good to use for other things. Just be sure it is something about you. The Law of Attraction works through each person’s thoughts and feelings. For instance, I can work on peace in my life, and I hope that will expand to bigger context, but I can’t think and feel as a representative of the “world” to attract world peace.

There is also a myth about the Law of Attraction that all you have to do is to think, feel, maybe visualize. No, you need to take inspired actions – most of the time. The gift may or may not come as a direct result of the action, however, and this is the magic of the Law of Attraction.

Also a myth – or some kind of confusion – is the name “Law of Attraction.” Words have only so much meaning as we give. I’m using the term “Law of Attraction” because it is how we most often call it. Call it for something else if you have issue with the term. The energetic working doesn’t care how it’s called. Nor does it care how it is marketed.

Finally, there are people – quite many actually – who are not in charge of their own thoughts and feelings. I see them all the time in my Akashic Record Reading service. Of course, you think what you are thinking and feeling are your own thoughts and feelings, but if you observe carefully, you might notice some thoughts and feelings are out of the stream of thoughts and feelings of your own. Because the Law of Attraction works with one’s thoughts and feelings, this condition brings haphazard results.

I feel for these people (this is why I do the Akashic Record Reading service) but at the same time, I must say please don’t blame the Law of Attraction for attracting mixed results. It’s working – it’s just not working the way you want it to work.

Do you utilize the Law of Attraction in your life?
What are your real thoughts and feelings about money?
