Yes to Me

Life Purpose, Entrepreneurship, Spiritual Fulfillment

About

More about me, Akemi Gaines . . .

I was effectively stuck.
I had a well-paying job. Had a 3BR 2BA 2 car garage house in the suburb. Excellent credit, sufficient savings. Friends who liked and trusted me. I loved reading and painting. Solid spirituality.

Yes, this is how I was STUCK.
I wanted to have my own business. I wanted to connect with more people. I wanted to really feel clear and centered.

I jumped.
I quit my job, rented out my house, and moved to Portland, Oregon. I started my coaching business to help people like myself. Along the way, I got to know someone who does intuitive reading, and had my Akashic Record read. I was so impressed with the result that I started learning how to do it myself.

I’m learning and growing, always will be. I feel joy as I’m finally living my purpose. And I’d like you to know that, if a little immigrant girl can do it, you sure can. You really do have the power in you to make positive changes in your life.

My blog

I enjoy writing for my blog. This blog is about implementing changes in our personal and work life. Work including your own businesses. I write about our spiritual growth that is the basis of practical growth, how we can effectively express ourselves in what we do, and stories of real life challenges.

One of my long-term goals is to make more money from this blog so that I can reach out to more people than I can through my coaching. (This is why there are ads - please understand.)

My other long-term goals

My other long-term goals are to do motivational speeches and seminars and to publish books. Also, on a more personal side, I want to resume painting.

To read more of my real life stories - it is everywhere in my blog, but may I suggest the following post:

Is Becoming An Entrepreneur Harder Than Surviving In A Foreign Country?

Some people have asked me how they can express their appreciation for my writing . . . that’s by itself plenty, but I am setting a PayPal donation button for those of you who likes giving. Please get in the flow of abundance of giving and receiving here.

Thank you so much!
