Ascension And Enlightenment

ascension
I’ve been writing about Ascension, Ascension soul shift, and the New World on this Yes to Me blog. (Each link takes you to the main post of the topic.) Here I’d like to provide a good sum-up to help you understand this interesting phenomenon, which has a lot to do with your own freedom. (Photo credit)

What is Ascension?

Our Earth is increasing her energetic vibration rate. In other words, the Earth is ascending. This is affecting all her residents, like us, and many of us are experiencing the increase of our soul’s vibration rate. This is called Ascension or Light Ascension.

You don’t need to know the word Ascension or anything about it to ascend. You don’t need to be practicing any spiritual work such as meditation to ascend (although such practice can be tremendously helpful.)

When your soul’s vibration rate increases to a certain level, you may experience Ascension soul shift. I see this often in my Akashic Record Reading service. The existing soul completes its life lessons and a new soul, that comes from the same Higher Self, takes over. Again, this is a result of a combined effects of Earth’s Ascension and your personal spiritual development. It’s not all about you — there is grace brought by Earth.

What is Ascension soul shift?

Because the soul defines a big part of us, mentally, emotionally, and physically, the soul shift is a noticeable event. While each person experiences the shift differently, here is a list of common Ascension symptoms. You may experience all or some of them:

  • Change in interests and aspirations. You are simply not interested in the people and things that kept your interest before. (Including disinterest in personal development or productivity hacks.)
  • Inner need to detox, declutter, and simplify life.
  • Strange wanderlust.
  • Sudden spiritual “awakening”
  • Change of food preference (many become vegetarian or even raw vegetarian)
  • Change in sleep patterns
  • Physical symptoms such as ringing in the ear, change in vision (sometimes daily), or strange itching and twitching around the body.
  • Depression and anxiety are also common when the previous soul gets stuck, unable to move on after the new soul comes in.

The common theme in all these is that the change happens quite abruptly. It’s not something you planned or worked on to change.

I write about Ascension because there aren’t many resources out there to help people understand what is going on. If you went through these strange and unexplainable changes, don’t think you are crazy. I can help you. (Here is a list of other resources on Ascension that seem reliable to me.)

What will happen in 2012?

What will all these changes lead us to? I think we may be becoming lightbodies. Our physical body is a blessing, but it also presents various limitations. It may be time to evolve to something even better, which I call lightbody. In my understanding, lightbody can feed on light, not foods. And we can travel through time and space freely as lightbody.

Now a disclaimer: I haven’t seen my lightbody yet. All these things about Ascension and lightbody are still in the research level — I’ve been studying about them as I work with post Ascension soul shift clients and as I experiment with myself. Honestly, there are so many questions that remain open. I choose to write about Ascension, however, because even the ongoing research level information can be helpful, especially for those who are going through this or who are heading this way soon. Again, there aren’t many other helps available to the best of my knowledge.

Will Ascension complete in year 2012? Will there be a significant change to Earth in 2012? I don’t know. If anything is indeed happening, I think it’s a positive change. So I wrote my Creating the New World series.

What is Enlightenment?

Enlightenment has become such an ambiguous word. You might say my post is “enlightening”, and that would be a nice compliment, but I’m not sure if that enlightenment is the same as the enlightenment some people pursue in their spiritual development.

Here is my definition of Enlightenment. It is to realize the true nature of this thing we call “reality”. In other words, Enlightenment is about knowing we have the power to create. It is the ultimate freedom.

Ascension and Enlightenment are closely related, but I see them as separate. Enlightenment is a spiritual achievement. Ascension is the dynamic change that involves not just our soul but our body and mind. One helps the other to happen.

Action plan for Ascension

What can you do to move forward in your Ascension? Each post in the New World series on Love, Light, Truth, Abundance and Power has action plans at the end, so please check them out. Additionally, I suggest:

  • Listen to your inner voice. Develop your intuition — it’s your best guidance.
  • Your need to detox and declutter is real — don’t resist it.
  • Eat closely to Earth. The Earth grows plants, (typically) small animals eat plants, then bigger animals eat the vegetarian animals. I feel much better since I became vegetarian (pretty much vegan).
  • Take plenty of rest. Declutter not only your physical environment but also your life, and rest rather than doing non-critical activities.
  • Let go of people who sucks up your energy.

Do you have any questions about Ascension? Please share in the comments. Thank you.

Clarifying The Message Of Yes to Me

July 9, 2009 by · 13 Comments

freedom
Since I started this blog in February 2008, I’ve written over 150 posts about various things in life and work. In 2008, I wrote mainly about my experience as a new entrepreneur and what it means to be a spiritual entrepreneur. (Photo Credit)

After I experienced Ascension soul shift myself in January 2009, I’ve written a lot about Ascension. I also share my expertise as Akashic Record Reading specialist.

For me, it has been one clear path, but I understand it may have been confusing to some readers. Is this blog about spiritual entrepreneurship? Or spirituality in general? Or maybe about Akashic Records and Ascension?

So here is my clarification.

Yes to Me is all about liberating ourselves from the soul level up in all aspects of our lives.

My search for true freedom

Freedom has been the critical theme in my life. In 1995, I left my home country Japan and came to the US by myself. Why? I can give you the reason at various levels. “To attend college and get a degree.” is the practical, physical level answer. “To challenge myself and rebuild my life from scratch.” is my mental level answer.

But there was something more fundamental. I had a good comfortable life back in Japan. Why the heck did I have to leave all that and start over in my thirties? “To explore freedom.” is my spiritual level answer. (And, no, I don’t mean drinking and drugging by the word “freedom”. Nor do I mean simply being able to do something.)

Many of us live in the confines of fear, limiting thoughts, and self-sabotaging “programs”. My life has been about uncovering the lies of each confine that I previously thought had kept me in. And yes, placing myself in a completely new country has helped me do this.

Quitting my corporate job in October 2007 and starting my business was another way to explore freedom. I don’t think we need to be an entrepreneur to be free, but it’s a damn good way to be empowered and liberated.

Akashic Records are great resource for freedom

I share my knowledge of Akashic Records in this blog because they are great resources that can help us be free from the various energetic issues. I’m very happy and proud to offer this service.

Ascension, in my understanding, is a great opportunity to leap in this spiritual freedom. It may even mean a new level of physical freedom if we are to develop lightbodies.

Earlier this year, I had to make yet another decision in my quest for true freedom and authenticity. I decided to part way from my former teacher. I don’t want to go into details about this, but the bottom line is that I choose to explore Akashic Records (and my spirituality) beyond what is already known. I’m grateful for what I have learned, but I can’t let anyone be less than what I can be.

Your freedom matters

Now about YOU. You are a critical part of this world. Your freedom to be yourself, and to express your authentic self, matters. So I’d like you to be free.

Allow yourself to be free. Dare to be free.

When you are free, you are naturally giving the best quality of yourself freely to the world, and this is the best service you can do to the humanity. Charities and volunteer works are great, but there is nothing like YOU bringing in your beautiful true self to the world every day all day.

Ultimately this leads to the creation of the New World. The New World where we are all free to express our authentic selves and at the same time united in Love. It’s a wonderful world. I’ve written over 13,000 words in the series of posts about creating the New World, so I’m not going to repeat it here, but when you have the time, please read them. It’s the most critical posts on this blog. Here is a link to the first of the series, about creating the New World based on Love.

Your personal freedom matters in this creation. It’s not just about you because we are all interconnected.

Saying “Yes to Me”
With this in mind, I just updated my blurb in the sidebar. Again the message I want to convey throughout this Yes to Me blog is this:

Your freedom to be yourself matters.

After all, this is why you came to life. You didn’t come to this world to bend yourself backwards, to fit in to the existing status quo, nor to suppress your inner light. You are a beautiful soul and you came to express yourself.

Do you like it? I will update the About page, too, soon.

I’ll keep writing about Akashic Records, starseeds, various energetic issues that run negative “programs”, and so on. I’ll also keep writing about freedom from paycheck mentality, conditionality in loving relationships, fear of death, and so on.

Further, I’m thinking of putting together an eBook, “Lightworker’s Guide to Self-Employment” which will be a free download. I think many of us will be self-employed in the New World, so better to start sooner than late. Do you like the title?

Oh, in case you are wondering: This blog is NOT about selling my Akashic Record Reading service. I talk about Akashic Records because they are great resources, but you don’t need to buy anything. I want this Yes to Me blog to be a big community where we inspire each other in our journey to true freedom.

What do you think about the new clarification of this blog’s message? Are there any areas of life I haven’t covered that needs to be written about? Please let me know by comments. Thank you.

Meat Eaters vs Vegetarians In Spirituality

July 6, 2009 by · 43 Comments

vegetarian
In “Spirituality Is About Anything And Everything In Life”, I confessed I don’t believe vegetarians are more spiritual than meat eaters. I wrote that with the spirit of acceptance and love for all, including meat eaters. I have issues with self-righteous claims that something (like vegetarianism) is better and holier than others.  (Photo credit)

Well, I just finished reading Skinny Bitch, which is not really about diet and weight loss but about food safety and health, and it made me think. . .

skinny

My idea of healthy meat eating practice

Let’s say I were a chicken. I understand I am domesticated and cannot survive in the wilderness, so I accept my life on the farm. This is okay with me. As long as I can enjoy the sun and the fresh air every day. I’d like to eat the fresh greens in the field and drink clean water. I’d like to roam around when I want. Maybe I want to play in the sand with other chickens.

If I get to do this, and after, say 4 months, you come to me and say, “It’s your turn today. We raised you for this family dinner.”, I’d accept it. I hope you slaughter me in a way that doesn’t cause excessive pain. A little prayer beforehand would be nice, too. And I hope you eat all the edible parts — please don’t just eat the breast meat and throw away the rest like worthless parts. Even the bones are good for broth, you know.

This is my idea of healthy meat eating practice. Raise the animals in a healthy environment (I didn’t particularly mention “organic”, but I think you get the idea this farm of my dream is very organic and clean). Eat with gratitude, not with gluttony. Then I don’t think it’s a cruel practice — after all, I smash mosquitos and ants. We are all killers to some extent — within reasons. When it is done to nurture lives in a good conscientious way, I don’t see sin in meat eating. Skinny Bitch, however, points out something incredible . . .

Skinny Bitch surprises me

The authors, Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin, did a great job in researching nutrition, health, and food industry. It’s a great read for anyone, both men and women, who cares about themselves.

Now I knew most of the info on nutrition.  I also heard about how unhealthy most animals are in the factory farms (that is, most meat sold in the market). But I thought “organic” meat was good. Maybe not as good as my dream farm, but close.

Wrong, they say. First, even the organically raised animals are slaughtered in the same slaughterhouses with conventional animals. And their description of what happens there is outrageous. I’m not sure if I want to quote — I’m afraid it may be too shocking. Well, just a little bit:

“Human” protocol calls for animals to be “stunned” before they are slaughtered. . . When done properly, using working equipment, this renders the cow (or hog) unconscious. But time is money, and slaughterhouses operate at lightening speeds, some killing one animal every three seconds. Because thousands of frightened, struggling cows are not easy to stun, it is extremely common for a “stunner” to miss his mark. . . (after a few pages, there are quotes of slaughterhouse workers admitting animal abuse. One says he has seen others take the stunner and “shove it up the hog’s ass” or “in their ears, in their eyes, down their throat”. . .

OMG. There is no priest supervising the killing and offering prayers? (I heard this was the old practice in Jewish and Islamic cultures.)

Feeding our bodies with the energy of others

In the aforementioned article, I wrote, “Eating is about feeding the body with other lives, whether they were plants or animals.” When we eat, we take in the foods’ energy. And this goes beyond nutrition as science has unveiled so far. We take in the life energy that is left in the foods.

Eating abused animals, then, is taking in the energy of abuse. And fear, anger, helplessness, and sickness of the animals. Obviously, this is no good.

Another problem in food industries and its regulations

Another issue with “organic” meat is the label of “organic”. In Chapter 9 “Have No Faith: Governmental Agencies Don’t Give A Shit About Your Health”, they maintain USDA’s stamp of approval is compromised to benefit the meat industry, which pays lots of money in the form of political contributions.

If you live in the US, read at least this chapter. It’s only 23 pages. Find out exactly how USDA, FDA, EPA, etc messes up their nation’s health. It’s an eye opener.

Meat eaters vs vegetarians

So practically, there is no way to eat healthy meat raised in humane compassionate way unless you raise your own animals. I have no intention to blame meat eaters, but at this point, I have to admit meat eaters are either cruel or ignorant.

I was an ignorant meat eater for years. Duh, no more. And you know, it’s better to correct the issue than staying ignorant. At some point, ignorance becomes no excuse. Because the social awareness is raised, thanks to people like the authors of Skinny Bitch.

Eating meat, thus supporting the meat industry, is synonymous to supporting animal cruelty, and that is not love. Plus we don’t need to keep those slaughterhouse workers doing what they do (you don’t think they enjoy doing it, right?). They can find other jobs that help them feel better about themselves. This is love, too.

Vegetarian nutrition

In the aforementioned article, I also wrote, “Eating is also about caring for our physical bodies.  While we are incarnated, the condition of the physical body affects our soul.”

As I eat more and more raw plant based foods (fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds), I find them easier to digest. I used to have acid indigestion often, but no more. So it seems vegetarianism is a good way to nurture our body, thus more in alignment with our spiritual development in this aspect as well.

If you are concerned about the protein intake for vegetarians, check out this website. On the sidebar, there is Daily Needs Calculator, which will tell you not just the protein but all the detailed nutritional needs. In my case, my protein need is 40g a day, which is 10% of my overall caloric needs of 1600 kcal. (1 gram of protein produces 4 kcal.)

Then you can enter the food name in the Search window. I find a lot of vegetables are 10 or more percent protein. (And many, such as dark greens, are high in amino acid score). Fruits are low on protein, so as long as I don’t overeat fruits and ignore my veggies, and eat some nuts and seeds which are high in protein to achieve my caloric needs, I’m fine. Personally, I check my weight and body fat rate daily — if I’m losing lean body mass (muscles and bones), I’m in danger. Since I became a vegetarian this January, I lost a few pounds, but my body fat rate is the same or slightly lower, so I think I’m okay.

Eating is spiritual

Let me repeat “Spirituality Is About Anything And Everything In Life”. You are a spiritual being in the physical body, so you can’t not be spiritual. Everything in life affects your spirituality.  Your eating habit affects your spirituality, and certain choices align with spiritual evolution better than others.  You can’t compartmentize spirituality and insist what you eat has nothing to do with your spirituality.

Skinny Bitch also shines light on how we can create the New World of abundance. It says,

“the amount of land, food, water, and energy used to raise 10 billion animals a year for slaughter (in North America) could be used to grow food for all of the starving people in the world.”

Wow. Vegetarians (even better, vegans) solve the world’s food supply issue, improve environment, while improving our individual health. Cool.

Do you feel what you eat affects you not just physically but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually? And if so, what actions are you taking to improve your life? Are you a meat eater and have hang-up with vegetarians? Please share in the comments.
