I sensed that already that you have your mind put on Oregon:-), I just wanted to test how strongly :-)
I don't know if you believe in it and if it is part of your reality, but potential earth changes could make the coastal areas un-inhabitable, so you might want to look for a spot that is a little more inland and at a higher elevation. Eugene is definitely better than Portland in this regard, even though it is still pretty close to the coast and not very high.
I am defintely crossing all my fingers that you will find the right spot for you.

Hi Akemi,
you might want check out Coeur d'Alene, Idaho http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coeur_d'Alene,_Idaho
The city itself is not that huge(about 45.000), but is part of the Spokane Metropolitan area, which is around 700,000 people. Also the city is a resort town, so you get a lot of international visitors and the Spokane Airport has direct flights to many big cities in the USA.
Also many lightworkers live in the area, because you have powerful energy spots all over, check this link:
http://www.spokaneholisticchamberofcommerce.com/

Also, if you believe in Earth changes, staying away from the coasts is recommended and to move to a little higher elevations.
The only thing you might not be used to are the winters, compared to Portland, but they are not that bad and you have four seaons which is nice and prices are still somewhat affordable.

Lisa,
Gangaji is in Ashland? Neale Donald Walsch and Victoria Boutenko are there, too. Interesting. I've been thinking of visiting there -- it's a long drive, and from what I can tell looking at the map, it's such a small town in the middle of nowhere. Just a few square miles stretch -- it may well be smaller than the small suburban town I live now.

Akemi - love reading these, and getting the chance to catch up on some of your posts that I missed. Have you checked out Ashland? I know it's a lot smaller, but Gangaji moved there from San Francisco because it supported her natural/organic lifestyle but was a lot less expensive than SF. I lso know an astrologer that moved there from LA for the same reason.I haven't been there yet but have heard it is beautiful. -Lisa
