Check Out My New Outfit

November 3, 2008 by akemi

Yes to Me has a brand new look! If you are reading this by your RSS feed or email subscription, please click here to see the beautiful colors.

The landing page is magazine style, showcasing recent posts with thumbnail images. And if you want to get more comfy to read the post of your interest (including the latest post on your left), just click on the post title, and the single post page has twice as much space for the post, with the simple two-column format.

I think my web designer and I worked out pretty much all the glitches (except that some links have underlines and some are not – I have no idea about this inconsistency, and it seems to happen only on Firefox. If you know how to fix this, PLEASE let me know), but let me know if you see some awkward parts.

Thank you for your continuing support for Yes to Me – Spiritual Healing and Growth for Greater Success. Here is to your health and prosperity!

Akemi, the new theme for your site looks wonderful. I love the look and feel of it – especially the color scheme and the design elements, including the typography. It all looks so lovely and inviting. My compliments to the designer and my compliments to you on having such excellent taste.

Akemi, I’m using Firefox, and all the links I see have no underline until you move the mouse pointer over them, and then they have an underline. If you can tell me where to find a link that looks different, I’ll see if I can figure out why.

Hi Akemi – it’s brilliant. The yellow at the top looks like sunshine. It’s very cheerful and welcoming.

This is beautiful work. It’s very representative of you and what you stand for. Looks packed with info but at the same time very clean.

Everyone, if you like my web designer, her link is in the footer.

I wanted yellow in the header to signify the Divine Light. Like the golden sunshine. In the chakra theory, yellow is the color of the 3rd chakra, which is about personal power. Blue is the color of the 5th chakra, which is about communication. So I think they are just the right colors for this blog, Yes to Me, which is about achieving success with one’s own power (which comes from the Higher Power) and communicating the wisdom to all.
